Notch Impact Test
The notch impact test determines the material toughness with regards to the temperature. We use a pendulum machine according to DIN 51222 of the Material Testing Institute (MPA) in Dortmund, which has been inspected and approved according to DIN 10045 Part 2 for a testing range up to 300 J.

The choice of material must guarantee a sufficient impact energy for the whole applicable temperature range. For some materials the impact energy drastically drops with low temperature (starting from -10°C).

Tensile, Compression, Bending Test
With variably applicable testing machines we can conduct all static strength tests and therewith analyze the deformation and strength performance under static stress. For this puprose we use a all-purpose testing machine according to DIN 51221 of the Material Testing Institute (MPA) in Dortmund that has been inspected and approved according to DIN 51302 Part I and DIN EN 100002-2 for the testing range 4 – 200 KN in class 1.

Metallographic Inspection
The metallographic inspection identifies slightest modifications or deviations in the microstructure of the material with the aid of a microscope.

Fractography
The fractography gives information about the kind of fracture. This way we can determine if the material has had an incipient crack prior to operations that enlarged or if the crack originated during the operation itself. Moreover we can determine if the crack is based on a fatigue fracture or forced fracture.
